Mike is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Trading at Northern Capital, with more than 30 years of institutional fixed income experience. A General Securities Principal and Municipal Securities Principal, he has been with the firm for over two decades and leads all trading activity and related operations.

Mike’s career includes senior trading roles at several regional firms, including The Massachusetts Company, Lamberson Knight, Moors & Cabot, and Tucker Anthony, where he built a deep foundation in fixed income markets across varying economic cycles.

He works closely with investment advisors, asset managers, broker-dealers, banks, and trust departments, providing guidance on portfolio construction, swap analysis, and security selection. Mike maintains hundreds of counterparty relationships with the Street and brings a depth of market access, product expertise, and trading insight that is invaluable to the firm and the clients we serve.
